Aztec was established in 1979. It was founded on a solid background of electrical expertise brought to the company by its two founders Dave Atkins and Stan Marcus, its current Director.
Aztec is the sole agent for many market leading, international brands and its product range is diverse yet focussed.
Since 1979, Aztec has been specialising in the supply and integration of high performance, speciality batteries & related components for the: Aerospace, Military, Telecoms, Standby, UPS, and other markets.
Within the past 30 years, Aztec has established itself as Africa’s leading supplier of premium quality, speciality batteries.
For three decades, Aztec has been supplying the highest quality mining equipment including Miniature Substations, Battery Chargers, Transformers, Switch Trippers, Loco Controllers and a wide range of other specialised equipment to many of Africa’s Gold and Platinum mines.
